Here’s something kids today may not understand. If you were born in the 50s, 60s, 70s, or even the early 80s, you probably shouldn’t be alive right now. Our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets. Some of us were born to mothers who worked at places where everyone smoked, this caused them to inhale dangerous chemicals from cigarretes. Not to mention as children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Our parents could not call our cell phone if they wanted to reach us and we were O.K.
