As one Beltrami County Sheriff’s deputy came home from work, he saw something very bizarre. His lawn was perfectly mowed yet no one was home to do any actual mowing. It was a pleasant surprise for the deputy but he couldn’t help but wonder who was responsible for the kind deed.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for him to find an answer. There was a small note taped to his front door that explained everything.
The note read:
“Hey i’m the kid that mowed your lawn. My name is Brett (last name censored). I’m 17 years old and i’m the mower for (name censored) next door to your house. If it’s ok with you I would like to mow your lawn for you because your job is hard enough and I think people like you should know we are behind you guys. Take the extra hour that it takes mow and spend time doing what you love.
What a kind young man. His gesture might be small but it has made a huge impact on morale for the department. “Our office is deeply appreciative of the kind words and support the law enforcement community has received!” – Writes the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.
People from all across the United States are now praising Brett for his actions. His kindness is not only refreshing to see but it also helps renew our faith in humanity. We tip our hats off to you Brett!
