91-Year-Old Grandma Stuns The Judges With Her Singing Voice

By now, we are used to seeing young talent go on competition shows and impress the judges.

From children with incredible dance moves to ones with hypnosis skills, there’s certainly no shortage of talented youth.

But thanks to an unforgettable episode of the now-defunct New Zealand’s Got Talent in 2012, we got to see some older talent that proves age should never hold a person back from following their dreams.

Despite being 91, Olivia Turner auditioned for the competition show simply because of her love for music.

“I love to sing and I love to perform,” she said. “It makes life interesting. There’s not much left now, so it’s one thing I can still do.”

And it’s one thing she certainly could do well. The great-grandmother blew the judges away with her performance of “I Could’ve Danced All Night,” a song originally sung by Julie Andrews for the musical My Fair Lady. (Just wait til you hear Turner sing that powerful last note!)

“You engaged with the crowd; you engaged with us. A thousand percent, hugely respectful yes!” judge Jason Kerrison told her.

The other judge, Ali Campbell, said, “I can’t wait to hear you sing another song. It’s a yes from me.”

Watch below and please SHARE to encourage everyone to follow their dreams no matter what their age!
